Surf: Out on the point is La Boya, possibly the best left in the country, with fast, hollow lefts over flat rocks and a crowd guaranteed. Needs a decent SE swell to get going and the rides are fast with various sections making it a bit of a lottery on wave selection. Handles NE winds well. The other side of the point, rights peel into Playa Montoya, a hollow beachbreak, but more wind exposed. Environment: Not the most consistent wave and the rocks may be flat but can still be vicious.
