Surf: La Derecha is the most consistent wave in Encuentro with long, walling rights for shredders on the outside reef plus the odd left. Works in all swells and tides and handles a bit of onshore. NE is best swell direction for the rights, with more lefts in NW-N. Environment: Often crowded with locals and beginners need to move down to Bobo's.
