Surf: Laida is on the other side of the river from Mundaka. It can be surfed as an uncrowded alternative to Mundaka or Laga on smaller days. Average beachbreak, low to mid tide. Moderately consistent. Environment: Popular beach in summer with beachgoers from Gernika. Easiest access is from Mundaka, paddling across the river. In summer you can take a small boat across. There is also a carpark on the Gernika side. Camping nearby at Mundaka.
