Surf: Unremarkable beachbreaks at the Bonny Hills southern end of Rainbow Beach lead up to a cluster of rocks at Lake Cathie that hold the sand on both sides and provides some shape in any flavour E. Usually surfs better than it looks. The lake entrance can groom the bars also, but this whole stretch up to Port feels lonely and sharky. Environment: May be a bit of local sentiment, but more likely happy for an extra pair of legs dangling.
