Probably the most consistent, swell-sucking reef in the Margaret River area and a favourite with local rippers. Lefties only needs a little SW-W pulse to start gurgling across the reef in a barrel to wall style that compliments an aggressive attack. As it grows overhead, the drops get critical, the barrels get squarer and the beatings more severe. Safer on incoming tides, since the inside section can go dry. There are beachbreaks peaks which beckon on the long walk down from the track, but quality is variable.

There was a particularly savage, fatal shark attack on a surfer in 2004, and the dark, kelp strewn reefs get the imagination working overtime. Considering it's isolated location, there should be less surfers, but good waves seem to outweigh the risks.
