A 10min drive west of Vanimo lie the classic pointbreaks off Lido Village. Lido’s Rights peel down a long line of mainly limestone rubble reef and sand with a full variety of walls from easy crumbling lips to tuck and dash backdoor sections. All tides and any S in the wind will see fun tropical waves for the small groups of tourist surfers.
Intermediates at least to make the drop and avoid the reef. West of Vanimo lie the speedy, sucky left barrels of Yako and the longer walls of Maromo.
