Lillatro is a surf spot located about 2 kilometers south of Rosignano. To get there, just turn right before the Solvay factories. This spot features three distinct peaks on a rocky bottom, which adds some variety to your surfing experience. It can get pretty crowded on weekends, so if you're looking for a quieter session, try going during the week.
The surf here is decent, especially with southwest (SW) swells, where you'll find some nice hot-dog waves and occasional barrels, particularly on the central peak. The spot handles swell sizes starting from around 2 feet (0.6 meters) and works well during low to mid to high tides. You can ride both left and right from the peaks. Keep in mind that itβs sensitive to wind, and the northeast (NE) winds are preferable. If you do happen to catch it with moderate onshores, the south peak can still be surfable.
This spot is suitable for intermediate surfers looking for a challenge. Just be aware of the crowd, especially on weekends, and plan your surf sessions accordingly to make the most of what Lillatro has to offer.
