Long Long surf guide

Long Long is a surf spot located a short boat ride from Nusa Island Retreat. It’s known for its lengthy rides, living up to its name. This spot is somewhat picky about conditions—it needs a strong swell from the W-NW and a friendly wind coming from the N-E to really come alive. When everything aligns, you can expect a fun session, with a deep water roll-in leading into a decent wave that allows for some good turns and spray.

This spot handles swell sizes starting around 3 ft (approximately 0.9 meters) and works best with northwesterly swells, although it can also pick up some west swells. The waves break over live coral and generally roll off to the right. For the best experience, stick to low, mid, or high tides, especially when you're at that intermediate skill level.

Long Long provides a nice change of pace from the shallow barrels nearby, making it a suitable spot for those looking to catch some fun and manageable waves while improving their skills. Just remember to check the conditions before heading out, as it can be hit or miss depending on the swell and wind.
