Surf: The huge port of Rotterdam expansion buried some old spots (Slufter & Blokken) replacing them with the large recreational beach of Maasvlakte 2. The most northern surf break is Bel’s or P6 (parking 6) and generally has the best waves with the most power coming out of the deeper water of the shipping lane, but it is highly exposed to the wind. Environment: Parking space at ‘Bel’s’ and ‘In Between’s’ is limited. Be aware that you’re not allowed to camp overnight as you will be fined by local authorities. The atmosphere in the water is mellow, locals are friendly.
