The large Malindi Beach extends north to a rivermouth, offering surprisingly consistent sandy peaks up to shoulder high, which are bigger at the north end and better at high tide.
Go past Casino and park near Palm Tree Beach, preferably in 4x4 able to tackle the deep, powdery sands. Some rips and more pollution and wildlife up near the rivermouth.
