Wilderness rivermouth fun park on the southern shore of Coiba island, where lively lefts spin down a groomed, triangular bar onto a paradise beach. Take off is steep into fast section before walling up with predictability and enticing sections asking to be hit. Doesn't like extremes of tide but is very consistent up to head and a half. There's more quality beachbreak to the east and a bombora reef, before turning the corner for some crumbly righthanders off the island's SE point.
Paradise always has a price which is this is probably the sharkiest rivermouth in the country and did we mention the crocodiles lounging in the estuary behind the beach?
