Melma is a little surf spot located just north of the town of Molfetta, right beside the harbour. It’s a cozy bay that often flies under the radar. Melma can handle swell sizes around 2 feet (about 0.6 meters) and breaks over both sand and uneven reef. It’s a spot suited for beginners, and you can surf it during low, mid, and high tides. For the best experience, aim for a Northeast wind direction, which tends to help clean up the waves.
