The first easily accessible beach from the west. Usually short, fast and really, really hollow in an offshore westerly. Dead low and high make it shut down or turn into a big shoredump, so around mid incoming and outgoing are the pick.
Surfer lifeguards will oblige by not putting the swimming area at the best sandbar. Rarely crowded, with plenty of peaks to choose from, but strong rips with size.
