Nestles is located a short 10-minute paddle to the east of the main lineup. It's known for its explosive yet brief peaks which can be a bit tricky to navigate. This spot mainly attracts experienced surfers looking for a challenge, as the conditions can get gnarly. While it may have its moments, don't expect it to be super reliable for every session.
The waves at Nestles work best with a Southwest swell direction and are capable of handling sizes around 3 feet (about 0.9 meters). The breaks occur over an uneven reef, creating both lefts and rights. If you drop into a right, you'll find a quick sucky section that can offer some tube time before rolling out onto a softer shoulder. However, the lefts run directly towards some rocks, which adds a bit of extra risk. Mid to high tide is when this spot shines, and it's best with a north wind. Just remember, this place is really for expert riders only, so be prepared for some challenging conditions.
Also, just to the east, you’ll find Isla Silva de Adentro, which offers a powerful, hollow righthander during larger S-SW swells. If you’re hunting for a spot with fewer people but with more demanding waves, a little venture there could be worth your while.
