N'gor Rights is located on the other tip of the island and is known for its consistent surf. Featured in *The Endless Summer*, this spot is pretty reliable even with regular onshore winds. The waves here generally break over uneven reef and can provide decent rides depending on the swell direction and size.
This place handles swell sizes around 3ft (about 1 meter) and works best with a northwest swell. You can also catch waves from the southwest and north. The waves are predominantly right-handers and are known for being powerful and well-shaped, making them suitable for intermediate surfers. When it comes to wind, a southeast breeze is preferable, and the waves can work on any tide, whether low, mid, or high.
While surfing at N'gor Rights, keep an eye out for two rocks known as Mami and Papi that pop up in the wave path. There's also a carpet of urchins you’ll want to avoid. If you're not staying on the island, you'll need to take a boat across the half-mile channel to reach the spot.
