Past Nyali bridge is the access to the North Channel outside shallow reef, sometimes called Leven Reef. Favouring lefts and usually plagued by onshore SE trades, it’s a much shorter paddle and less sharky than the South Channel.
North of the Nyali Beach strip lies the fascinating Mamba Crocodile Village and Marineland Snake Park with turtles, sting rays, hand-fed sharks and a multitude of serpents. Miles of white powdery sand with a reef 2km offshore provide a natural lagoon ideal for kitesurfing with Prosurf Kite.
