More about North Wall - Coffs Harbour surfspot

The North Wall of Coffs Harbour is a typical jetty break with a right spinning of it called the Wedge and a nice apex peak just next to it. Further out is Reef, a sucking slab off the rocks that goes square before shutting down, making it a favourite with bodyboarders. Needs proper swell and a good covering of water.

These breaks can be a bit sensitive with the locals so well-mannered, experienced surfers only. Can be awfully polluted with sewage and commercial waste after rain when the Coffs Creek becomes an overflow for the sewage works.
