There are a handful of quirky breaks like Cow’s Head, Cows Ass and a bodyboard slab called Bazookas, before reaching Prince Kuhio Condos, named after the 19th century local surfing pioneer. PK’s starts outside, where the approachable take-off churns left on a SE swell, but will travel and reform over the coral and lava mix to an inside right breaking close to the seawall. Absolutely always crowded with groms on the inside and local rippers on the outside.
Next door, Centers treacherous peak is dictated by swell direction; easier rights are better in SW and the trickier lefts like SE, but either way, it's hollow, shallow and for experts only.
