More about Palm Beach surfspot

The tip of the Northern Beaches peninsula is a luxury residential area and Palm Beach sits beneath the lighthouse on Barrenjoey headland, where an occasionally grunty and walled up left can spin down the rock and san banks at the the north end. The bulk of "Palmy" is often a warbly mess of mush-burgers and close-outs, but the southern corner can hold a decent bank in summer NE'ers and S wraps. Named Kiddies Corner because it is a deal smaller and an easy ride with good headland wind protection.

Bluebottle jellyfish in summer NE winds. Parking can get full with tourists checking out soap location "Summer Bay" plus boating and BBQ enthusiasts on the Pittwater side of the isthmus.
