If the S swell gets to a decent size, Pan Dulce becomes a Rincon-style right point, meaning really long, mellow cutback shoulders and zippy walls perfect for longboarding, often breaking as two separate sections on a rocky bottom inside the Golfo. The inside beachbreak is ideal for newbies.
Far less consistent and more makeable for average surfers than the outside points and so when it breaks it will be crowded and there are a few vocal expats and Puerto Jimenez locals. Regular shark sightings as well at this awesomely beautiful location.
