Pedra do Meio is a surf spot located a few kilometers west, often overlooked but worth a visit for the right surfers. It's recognized by the large boulder rocks near the take-off area and benefits from a somewhat sheltered position from east winds. This makes it a decent option when other spots are not performing well.

The waves here generally come best during a north swell, but it also handles northwest and northeast swells. It's suitable for waves ranging from about 2 feet (0.6 meters) up, breaking over uneven reef and sand. The waves typically break as a right-point, and it’s recommended to catch them when the tide is mid to high. Intermediate surfers will find the conditions manageable, especially with south winds blowing, making for a more pleasant surf experience.

Besides the waves, you can expect a relaxed atmosphere around Pedra do Meio, making it a nice spot to hang out and surf. The scenery is pretty nice too, with a natural setting that complements the surfing vibe. Just keep in mind it's not a place for beginners, so if you're still learning, you might want to pick another spot first.
