More about Pedro Point surfspot

A gnarly lefthand big-wave reef, best at high tide. A good Mavericks alternative for goofyfoots. Starts working at 8ft and can handle virtually any winter swell up to 25ft (7.5m), as long as it’s clean. Offshore during rain storms (S-SE winds).

General: At the south end of Linda Mar is Pedro Point. There are fun waves breaking along the Boatdock and onto the beach. Outside, there is a big left that breaks off Little Pedro Point, mostly in the winter. This is one of the bigger rideable waves on the North Central California coast. Tides: Incoming Size: 2X overhead Wind: E or SE Swell: W, NW, N Bottom: Rock reef Paddling: Normal, but can be stronger on bigger days. Spot Rating: Fun.
