More about Pescadero State Beach surfspot

Two spots here: at the north end is a muscular beachbreak, offering some kind of wave on virtually any day of the year. Best at higher tides with no wind. Can get very peaky and hollow; always juicy and rarely surfed. Park in the lot at the base of the bluff heading north. To the south is Pescadero Cove, a rock-strewn break with peaks aplenty. Best during medium tide going low with SE wind.

Seldom surfed. Can have some funky currents; don’t forget about the reality of white sharks.
