Pitstops is a surf spot that often gets overlooked, but it has its own charm for those willing to give it a shot. Located just below Pitstop Hill resort, it offers a nice view with some thatched huts lining the beach. The waves here can be a fun experience, especially for those looking to have a laid-back session on a beautiful beach.

The waves typically break over dead coral and provide fun right-handers that can be slurpy and at times even barrel-worthy, especially when the swell comes from the southwest (WSW). It handles swell sizes starting from about 2 feet (0.6 meters) and can work well on days with south or west swells. The wave direction is mainly right, making it ideal for regular footers. You'll find that the conditions tend to be best with east winds and at any tide height, whether low, mid, or high. It's a good spot for intermediate surfers looking to catch some fun waves without the usual crowd.

While Pitstops can get some people, it generally maintains a relaxed vibe, so it’s a great place to enjoy a surf session without feeling rushed.
