Surf: The popular resort of Mollendo has some highly consistent, but often mushy beachbreaks that easily close-out above headhigh. Banks vary greatly with the swell direction and W is often best. More breaks to the north including San Malloy, Camana and Playa La Punta. Environment: Good beginner stretch and high consistency in the 7 range. The rest of the time it is too big when currents pick up.
