Surf: Pochomil is a popular vacation spot only 1h drive from Managua. It picks up plenty of S swell and there are 3 rivermouths to help sculpt sandbars. Check for a slow, rolling A-frame down Pochomil Viejo. Environment: Lots of reefy patches but still mainly sand dependant. Gets crowded with swimmers and some surfers during holidays.
