Exposed outer headland looking over Yakutat Bay to the giant the Malaspina Glacier and lofty Mt St Elias. Picks up plenty of swell and throws it over sand and scattered boulder banks. Often messy and blown-out, it's also strafed by plenty of current coming out of the bay, so confident surfers on small days with a pushing tide. Red Bull had the tow crew out here on a big swell which was challenging as the wave is very shifty. Much safer back towards Graveyards.
Thick forest to the sand so keep an eye out for bears foraging on the beach.
