The best wind direction is from the southeast, and it handles a range of tide heights, making it quite accessible no matter when you choose to surf.

Keep in mind, Pollan Bay can get a bit crowded, especially in the summer as surfers from nearby Derry flock to the waves. So if you’re looking for some quieter sessions, consider hitting it early or later in the day. It’s a good spot to practice your skills and enjoy the beautiful scenery around.
