Potato Point is really just beachbreaks benefitting from sand build up on either side of the headland. The rights on the north side are usually the best and a good paddling rip is often in place next to the rocks. Jemisons left gets sucky and holds a good double overhead swell with some N angle in it. There is a bonus righthander at Blackfellows, two headlands north which is also reliant on the sand to create some longer point-style waves.
Chilled out area with low crowd factor and a density of spots. Something for most conditions and abilities.
