More about Praia da Bordeira surfspot
One of the best, as well as one of the most beautiful, beaches in south Portugal. At low tide a long left winds off the Carrapateira cliffs below the car park and from mid-high tide the beach turns on the goods with often fast and hollow rights into the rivermouth.
The left gets busy but the beach contains enough peaks to thin the crowds. Consistent but easily blown out.
