Surf: The fishermen’s huts of Punta Arenas extend along a pretty beach that can produce hollow waves provided the surf is big enough to get there; locals swear it only happens a couple of times a year. Little peelers close to shore with a better peak in the northern corner. Environment: Gets a crowd of swimmers and a fair number of surfcraft when it finally works.
