Sand beach pockets amid nondescript jumble of rocks that some claim produce a shape-shifting rideable wave over near-shore reef on a W or NW swell. A nook of relatively unencumbered beach about 3mi (5km) north of Brookings, right across the cove (S) from the Rainbow Rocks condo complex. Can be decent on any small swell from SSW to NW on a glassy or light E wind day. Good dawn patrol spot before the wind picks up.
Look for the turnout above the break. It's a scramble getting down to the beach.
