A.k.a. Power Plant, The River, Ray Bay, Seal Beach Jetty. Soft, fun sandbar peak between the jetties, right in the rivermouth. Needs peaky S-SW swells and lower tides. Can’t handle any real size. The neighboring peak off the south jetty is Crabs, a small righthand sandbar wave. Beware of numerous sand sharks and stingrays (step lightly).
Access is at the south end of Ocean Avenue in Seal Beach.
Water is warmer here than at surrounding spots, so consider increased likelihood of pollution after rain.
