Sandy Key surf guide
Surf: General: This spot is at the Sandy Key Condominiums, just west of Johnson's Beach. A local old-timer said there are pilings from an old pier that could contribute to the sandbar. There's a decent outside peak, and a mid-break that's surfable all year. To find it, turn left off State Road 292 and take a right on Sandy Key Drive. Park along the road.
