Surf: In between two rock groynes, this beach works best on bigger swells. If El Palmar and the surrounding west-facing beaches are maxed out and the winds are howling, this is always a good option. Although not the best wave in the area, there are some whackable walls and the local surfing standard is high. Bad backwash at high tide. Access: Parking in Cadiz can be very difficult during peak times. Environment: Crowds are dense as is the localism.Difficult pay parking. Cadiz is an amazing city with 3000 years of maritime history and an equally ancient sewer/stormwater system!
