Surf: Sandbar rights on the south side of the jetty. Picks up far less swell than Topaz Street, but its location deems it a good option when NW wind is blowing out other spots in the vicinity. Good during the spring. A relatively safe spot; low tide works best, with larger W-SW swell or big windswell. Environment: Access is at the foot of Sapphire Street in Redondo Beach.
