Quality peaks on the south side of the harbour jetty in big NW swells and remains ridable in gale force northerly winds. Hollow at times with defined lefts breaking into the paddling channel by the jetty and long rights wandering down the beach. High tide is best.
Sth side of the North Sea Canal
Plenty of locals on it when it breaks which isn't as often as Nord. Some current and pollution issuing from the harbour.
