Overview
Seahouses is a northeast-facing beachbreak with a handful of reefs mixed in, sitting beside a quiet holiday town. The coast holds more pockets of beach and reef in both directions, so there's room to move along the shore and find a peak if this stretch isn't quite lining up.
When It Works
The break pulls in swell from north through east-northeast to southeast, and northeast swell is the best match. Waves peel both left and right over sand, giving you options depending on where the banks set up. It's usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for southwest offshore wind to groom the faces clean. The beach can work through most of the tide, across low, mid, and high, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Access
There's a campground right behind the beach if you want to stay close to the water. Parking is easy to sort, with a car park offering free spaces alongside paid and roadside options.
