Not the best surf zone in Portugal, this long stretch of open beach is a windy, little known and often bleak stretch of coast. The northern half contains a few very mediocre sandbars that need a big swell, whilst closer to Sines you will find dumping shorebreaks that might appeal to the occasional bodyboarder happy to throw himself onto dry sand.
