The right-hand reef break at the south end of Stonehaven is the highlight, especially when the swell is coming from the NorthEast. It's best when the swell size is around 2ft (0.6 meters) but can handle larger conditions as well. You can also catch waves during SouthEast swells. The waves break over a rock ledge, so be mindful of your take-offs. For the best experience, aim to surf during low to mid to high tides and make sure the wind is coming from the west.
