Surf: Designated surfing beach. Will break on all tides but doesn’t like dead low. Strathmere is the first break south of Corson Inlet, which is being allowed to fill in and return to its natural state. Picks up more of the S swell than the rest of Sea Isle. Weak at low way outside, it’ll focus on the jetty at mid to high. Great longboard wave. Environment: Very consistent as the inlet channel will attract swell. Sometimes crowded with hippies and beginners. No pollution problems.
