Te Akau surf guide

Surf: A gravel road leads to Te Akau, a powerful high tide beachbreak with scattered rocks north of Raglan. Needs smaller swells and any E wind. Directions: Continue onto State Highway 22, heading west, through Glen Massey. Turn left onto Te Akau Road, then continue onto Te Akau Coast Road and take the next left onto the gravel road which will wind its way out to the beach. Environment: Lonely isolated spot with currents.
