Termales surf guide

Termales is a surf spot located just 10 minutes by boat from El Cantil or a 30-minute walk. It's known for its unique setup where the river meets the ocean, creating varying conditions based on the sandbanks. This spot has some thermal hot pools located just behind the beach, adding a nice touch to your day after surfing. Recently, more accommodation options have popped up in the area, making it easier for surfers to find a place to stay.

The waves here work best on NorthWest and big SouthWest swells, handling sizes from about 2ft (0.6 meters) and up. You can catch both left and right breaking waves at the rivermouth, depending on how the sandbanks are positioned. The best wind direction for surfing is from the South, and the conditions are generally good at low, mid, and high tides. This spot is also beginner-friendly, so itโ€™s a great place to learn if you're just starting out.

Remember to keep an eye on the swell as it can change how the waves break. Since this area is relatively accessible, it can attract both locals and visitors, giving you a nice vibe without being overcrowded. Enjoy your surf session!
