General: Indialantic's Boardwalk resides halfway to Sebastian Inlet from Cocoa Beach, at the end of the SR 192, one of the east-to-west arteries that connects Central Florida. The boardwalk is easy to find, thanks to a stoplight perched on A1A at the north end of the beach park. The Boardwalk is Indialantic's center for summertime beach activity, a buzzing swarm of screaming kids, sweating parents, slow-moving old folks, sunning lovelies. You must pay to park, and the meter maid is a respected Boardwalk icon for good reason, so feed the meter, then feed your face with a stromboli or extra-large slice from Bizarro's Pizzeria.</br></br> This used to be a go to spot, surfable at high tide and then offering up various peaks on the outer bars around the mid to lower tides. However over the last 20 years this spot is just a shell of its former self, and is hardly even considered by most surfers in the area. Maybe one day it will come back, but for now this spot is rarely surfed anymore. Tides: Low Size: Thigh-1' overhead Wind: WSW Swell: NE-ENE Bottom: Sand Paddling: Fairly easy paddling but can get more challenging on bigger swells. Spot Rating: This used to be a go to spot that could handle crowds, all tides, etc... This spot is now an afterthought.

Suitable for all ability levels.

Metered parking but other than that easy. Please do not park in the local business slots.

Fall-Spring, Hurricane

Crowd Factor: Lot of space to spread out; generally uncrowded. Local Vibe: None - this is no longer the spot it once was.

Home of Florida’s first surf shop, Shaggs, which is now one of many in the area. The crowds are more consistent than the waves, and you’ll always have to pay to park.

Usually very clean.

Watch for fender benders in the parking lot.
