On large south swells The Cliff is an average left point located at the end of the road past the Gisborne yacht club.
From Gisborne town centre drive east on Gladstone Road, onto Wainui Road, State Highway 35, towards Kaiti. After you cross the bridge turn right onto Hirini Street, then continue onto Kaiti Beach Road. Drive past the yacht club right down to the end of the road.
Best for intermediates as there are lots of rocks to contend with.
