The Kms surf guide

The Kms is a surf spot located a few kilometers from Agadir, with several sections named after their kilometers from the city. The area is known for its diverse surf options, offering something for intermediate surfers looking to catch some decent waves. You can expect a laid-back vibe with locals often hanging out and enjoying the surf scene.

At Km11, the lefts can be fast and tubular, especially during low tide, which makes for an exciting ride. On the other hand, Km12 offers softer waves but be cautious of boulders in the shorebreak, as they can catch you off guard. The spot handles swell sizes from about 2 feet (0.6 meters) and works best with southwest and north swell directions. The waves can break over uneven reef and sand, offering both beach breaks and more challenging sections. When it comes to wind, a northeast breeze is preferred, and it’s good to know that the tides can range from low to mid to high, providing different experiences depending on the conditions.

The Kms is popular among local surfers, especially around the « Royal Surf Club », where you might find a community gathering after a session. It's a place where you can relax and chat about the day's surf while enjoying the coastal atmosphere. If you're an intermediate surfer looking for some fun waves, The Kms is worth checking out.
