This changeable, predominantly left wave will break hollow in larger swells. Because it faces almost to the SW, a NE wind will clean it up nicely, providing there is some swell coming up from the S.
On the western end of Emerald Isle, this break is rarely surfed because parking is virtually non-existent. This problem is a constant theme on the Isle, where beach-access paths are provided, but no public parking lots. Beware strong currents in this area.
