The Quarry used to hold world-class lefts, but when the 2 rock jetties were built in 2002, it cut the spot in 2. There’s a short section off the jetty’s tip and then the most surfed part is the wrapping pointbreak section on the inside. Still a good place to surf plus there are some rights to the south.
With so much industry around at the large Port of Kemaman, there must be some pollution issues.
