Overview
Trespassers is a right-hand reef break with a heavy take-off and a good, workable wall. Reaching it means a long walk along the cliffs from the tame rights of Baby Lizards. The wave breaks over uneven reef and needs plenty of swell before it comes to life.
When It Works
It draws swell from south through southwest, with southwest (SW) the best match. There has to be real size in the water for it to work, and it is usable from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 3.7 m / 12 ft. Consistency is moderate, so count on worthwhile windows when the swell lines up rather than waves every session.
Wind and Tide
Look for east (E) offshore wind. It can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide the better call, and it is less fond of a full high.
Local Tips
This is an expert wave, and the ledgy drop only suits surfers ready for a committing take-off. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it is on.
Access
There is a car park with free but restricted parking, and camping is available.
