More about Trevone surfspot

Average NW-facing beachbreak working in large wrapping swells. Can be steep and fast off the sandbars at either end, especially if there is plenty of W in the swell. Rarely any good, so when it is the locals descend and dominate.

General: Tucked away on the jagged coast sits this narrow, sheltered bay that needs a big swell to work. Best to check at lower tides when a fun left can form off the rocks. Tides: Low to mid. Size: Waist high to overhead. Wind: SE Swell: W Bottom: Sand and rock. Paddling: Easy paddle out. Spot Rating: Sheltered banks worth checking in a decent swell.

Compact bay which doesn't really hold a crowd so not great for beginners.

Parking overlooks the beach.

December - February.

Crowd Factor: Doesn't take much to get busy. Local Vibe: Chilled.
